CompTIA

CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+

 

This course is an eight (8) week program designed to prepare students for the CompTIA A+, Network+ and Security+ exams.

Students will learn about hardware, operating systems, networking, security and troubleshooting as well as more specialized topics such as mobile devices, laptops, and printers.

Candidates from the 25-series MOS are recommended to apply; however, all candidates with necessary experience and qualifications will be considered. If you are a different MOS and feel that you have the necessary background and experience, please contact the Transition Tech Recruiter, Pendy Evans

This course also incorporates a Human Resource Development (HRD) session which assists in civilian resume writing as well as techniques and etiquette tips for interviewing.

Students successfully passing the A+, Network+ and Security+ credentialing exams may receive 20-college credits.

Tuition/Fees: $1,308.00 (subject to change)

• CompTIA A+ Exam 901 – $103.00
• CompTIA A+ Exam 902 – $103.00
• CompTIA Network+ Exam – $160.00
• CompTIA Security+ Exam – $222.00

Note: Tuition and fees may be funded by NC Works Career Center. To qualify for funding, ETS date, if active duty, must be within 180 days from the first day of class. One unique program benefit for the military is that we do not use the GI Bill to cover the cost of the course. We provide either institutional scholarships or funding from the third- party partner.
